Material carbonization phenomenon caused by heat in stainless steel reactor

In recent years, stainless steel reactors have become more and more widely used. In order to prevent the solid reaction materials from depositing on the bottom of the stainless steel reactor, a new stainless steel reactor has emerged. Based on the basic design and heating method of the original stainless steel reactor, this product has made some adjustments to the bottom of the stainless steel reactor.

Because all the problems are caused by the precipitation of solid reaction materials to the bottom of the stainless steel reactor. Then the main solution is to avoid precipitation even without mixing or stirring. This can be achieved by adding an auxiliary stainless steel reactor bottom, which is slightly higher than the actual bottom, leaving a gap of 3-10 cm. In this way, the solid reactants will be deposited on the bottom of the auxiliary stainless steel reaction tank, instead of forming an insulating layer on the actual bottom of the stainless steel reaction tank.

The heat transfer through the convection between the gaps at the bottom of the stainless steel reactor will be continuous and uniform. The bottom of the auxiliary stainless steel reactor is made of high-strength stainless steel (SS314), with many small holes on it, the diameter of which is slightly smaller than the particle size of the reaction material. Cut this screen into a circle. The edge is bent downward for support. When the solid reaction material is heavily loaded, a metal ring can be added under the auxiliary bottom as a support. In this way, solid materials can be prevented from being concentrated at the bottom of the stainless steel reactor.
