Today, let’s talk about the working principle and advantages of the steam generator.
1. The working principle of the steam generator
The steam generator is composed of the hot oil part and the evaporator. The hot oil part is the high-temperature heat transfer oil that enters the tube bundle of the steam generator through a hot oil pump or directly from a heat carrier heating furnace. Cool down and return to the heating furnace to make it recycled.
In the water vapor system, the feed water is heated to a certain temperature in the heater, enters the economizer through the feed water pipe, is further heated and then sent to the drum, mixed with the boiler water, and then descends to the water wall inlet header after being mixed with the boiler water. The water absorbs the radiant heat of the furnace in the water wall tube to form a steam-water mixture through the riser pipe to reach the drum, and the steam-water separation device separates the water and steam. The separated saturated steam flows from the upper part of the drum to the superheater, continues to absorb heat to become superheated steam at 450°C, and then is sent to the steam turbine. In the combustion and flue gas system, the blower sends the air into the air preheater to heat it to a certain temperature. The pulverized coal, which is ground to a certain fineness in the coal mill, is carried by a part of the hot air from the air preheater and injected into the furnace through the burner. The pulverized coal and air mixture sprayed by the burner is mixed and burned with the rest of the hot air in the furnace, releasing a lot of heat. After burning, the hot flue gas flows through the furnace, slag tube bundle, superheater, economizer and air preheater in sequence, and then passes through the dust removal device to remove the fly ash, and finally is sent to the smoke by the induced draft fan to be discharged to the atmosphere.
2. Advantages of steam generator
The steam generator vaporizes more quietly, reduces water carrying, and has a large evaporation surface. The steam is drier and high-quality, which reduces fouling on the pipe wall. The turbulent flame of the steam generator counter-flows downwards to form a vortex, which strengthens the circulating mixing and improves the thermal efficiency. The maintenance of the steam generator is very easy: the upper and lower heat transfer fins on the flame side are connected with holes for direct observation and cleaning. It is convenient to thoroughly check the sewage: the sewage hole is located on the low side, even if it is discharged, it is not easy to be blocked. From the top observation hole, you can directly observe the furnace top plate and the water side wall.
In short, the heat of the steam generated by the steam generator is mainly from natural gas, which does not require fuel combustion, has low emissions, and has low energy saving and environmental protection costs.
