1、 Working principle of MEP tower
In the multi effect evaporation process, steam heats the material in the first effect, and the generated secondary steam is introduced into the second effect to continue heating the material, and so on. Each steam effect is fully utilized, thereby significantly reducing energy consumption. At the same time, the plate tower structure allows liquid and steam to exchange heat through plate heat exchangers inside the tower. The liquid forms a thin film flow under the action of gravity, while steam flows through inter plate channels, achieving heat exchange and material separation.

2、 Structure of MEP Tower
The main structure of MEP tower includes plate tower unit, steam distribution system, liquid distributor, condenser, and control system. Plate tower unit is the core component of MEP tower, and the steam distribution system ensures that steam can be evenly distributed to various effects, improving heat exchange efficiency. The liquid distributor evenly distributes the liquid on the surface of the plate heat exchanger, forming a thin film flow that is conducive to heat exchange and material separation.
